CCHEST3 - MAP27 - one last secret

I am missing one last secret for MAP27 - RUBY ABYSS I found the megasphere, all the health drops in the south sector, the secret chamber in the north east of the north sector I know that in the East sector of the map, there is a classic Doom Devil face in the North hiding a teleporter to a series of columns in the South of the map. But I cant open it. I suspect it is one of those secrets, "if you dont do it in the right order it will close or permanently not open". Any hints? Thanks S
