Hello,

Today I installed Doom3, however after succesful finalizing the installation
procedures I really want to play, but .....

I get the error ´please login administrator privilegs and try again´. I
really do not know what this means... (I bought this game legally).

Please help and I let you alive in Doom3

Sounds like an OS issue, not a Doom issue.

    What OS are you running?

Sounds like you are running XP and you need to be logged into an
administrators account to install the game...

You do need administrator or power user privileges to install the game. You
will also need to set the security on the doom game directory so that users
have update privileges. If not you won't be able to save any games.

If you are using XP Professional do the following.
>>From the Administrator account:

Right click on the directory, select "Sharing and Security. Click the
Security tab.
If the check boxes in the bottom window are grayed out then toward the
bottom there is an Advanced button, click it.
In the bottom area there is an option "Inherit from parent the
permission...."
Uncheck this box. When the next box comes up click the "Copy" button.

In the top window you should have several users listed like Administrator,
Power Users, SYSTEM, etc. One should say "Everyone" or "Users."
That's the "user" you need to update.
Select that user and click the "Full Control" checkbox in the bottom section
and click OK.

Your game should work just fine now.

If you are using XP Home Edition then you need to be logged in as Owner or
Administrator to play the game.

If one is using simple file sharing (which is the XP default) the above
won't be useful unless one unchecks "Use simple File Sharing" in Windows
Explorer > Tools > Folder Options [View Tab], at the bottom.
