Hey all
I'm working on a doom map, but I keep on having the same problem. It
happens when the ceiling and floor flat leak out to the surrounding
sectors. See screenshot: http://tinypic.com/f1ie05.png.
Thanks for any help,
peter

Hmm. Are you sure your sectors are closed properly?
What editor are you using? I had good results with DEU, especially in
conjunction with ZenNode.

There were some bad sectors, so I deleted them and rebuilt them from
scratch. I still get the same problem, though.

You should post the WAD on some temporary webspace - from what I can tell,
there's either a malformed environment, or the BSP utility is not
functioning properly.

First thing I noticed is that Linedef 65 (-3840,2928 -> -3840, 3088) is
backwards. In addition, Linedef 103 is single-sided when you intended it
to be double sided.

In any case, note the exact positions where the problems occurr: go as
close as possible to the problem, and grab the coordinates (IDMYPOS, or
automatically from one of the source ports). Similar problems are usually
caused by the linedef being backwards (or incorrectly being one-sided.)

BTW, the sector assignments in the southern group of buildings is messed up
- this can confuse some node building systems.

(Seems that my node builder seems to create additional problems on the map
- something that I'll look into. )
