I am in the CPU levels and I just got to a point called the mess hall.  Any 
pointers on how to get past this?  Is it like the gaurdian where I have to 
do something before or at a specific time before I can kill the ahole 
chasing me around?

What is it you're fighting?  Sarge?  I don't remember any "mess hall" 
oin the CPU level.

If you're talking about 'sarge' who is the mutated version of the guy 
who was helping you - just kill him as fast as you can
