Some have no doubt noticed this but I thought it was neato.
  In Hell, after you kill all the Hell Knights and Fatsos within the
green pillar area, you enter a portal and land on an orange and red
sigil.  If you look closely near the rim of the sigil you'll notice the
damage-indicator mug shot of your character from Doom II.
  BTW, I did like this expansion a lot.  Interesting that in a shorter
game than the original Doom 3 you find a more broad range of
environments.  I hope for the next expansion we see even more
interesting areas and architecture, and larger spaces in which to roam.
It wouldn't even have to be completely integrated into the current
storyline; just give us interesting places to explore.
  Any other Easter Eggs?
