I too am having trouble with Doom v1.1 SFX. I'm using a 100% SB compatible set on 220,7,1. I have switched to IRQ5 with no luck. As with others, the music works fine. No problem with SFX on other ID products (Wolf, Spear, etc). Help. I'm desperate. Killing is no fun without all that gruntin' and screamin'. Unless we, the soundless, get a solution fast, I say we should flood iD with E-mail (Their address is he...@idsoftware.com). I sent E-mail last week outlining my problem but have not rec'd a response. If anyone has a workable solution, please post it. -- James and/or Angela Kierstead (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada...eh!) Lager & Ale make me flail. Porter an stout make me shout.

As with others, the Haven't heard too much problems with this. Did you try .99? Are you sure you have the lastest ver 1.1? (There were two released. Both with the same name). Also heard once to start the game with the turbo button off, then turn it on later.
