After playing for a few hours at a time with multiplayers over the network,
I have really got attached to the multiplayer aspect of the game. Are there
any drivers out there that allows for such a similar connection over the
serial port (NULL cable/modem) ? If there is such a program out there, has
anyone actually experienced how the game plays in such a setup?

We hooked up a null modem cable and played it with doomser, it worked, but it was really slow. We were running two 486's with 8 megs. One was a 33, and the other was a 66 VLB. Both had sound cards and SVGA 2meg monitors. Can't wait for ID to release the multiplayer version. Dommser is just too slow the way we set it up. If I did something wrong and someone has gotten it to work right then please forward me the info. Thanks Ian Perkins
