I am a newcomer to doom and have been trying to get the sound to work. I
play doom on my laptop but I can't get my sound card which is attached to
the parallel port of the computer to emit any sounds. So far I have been
using the pc speaker which is o.k. but nothing to write home about. The
sound card is made by Digispeech and called Portable Sound Plus (TM). It's
sound blaster compatible. I think I need to change the options on the
setup selection for the port number but I have no idea how to do that. Any
help would be appreciated.
