I've got and Orchid SoundProducer clone. I've installed it with setup (IRQ5, A220, 1 digital channel). I can hear the samples (sort of) but there is also a lot of garbage noise. The noise sounds like what that produced when playing stereo samples through the card. My machine is a 486DX33, 8MB. I've got DOOM v1.1 (I assume - the init screen says DOOM os v1.1), using one of the executables from the altdoom disk. Any ideas? -Paul

Try moving you sound card around (like away from the hard drive or power supply) I had the same problem with my SB16-SCSI2 only I got loud clicks when my hard drive whirs (sounds really horrible, but doesn't seem to damage the disk any) The same interference problems apply to video cards if you are interested
