"Okay, what is it?"

Well, you have to kill Pinkies.  You know, those big, pink, hairless,
apes.

"Hah!  Done it."

Now put away your shotgun.

"Fine."

And your pistol.

"Fine."

And your chaingun.

"Yeesh.  Fine."

And your rocket launcher.

"(??)  Sure, fine.

And your chainsaw.

"What??"

And you can leave your plasma rifle and BFG 9000 in the closet, too.

"WHAT??"

That's right, ladies and gentlemen.  It's time for
Pinkie-Boxing!!


Seems like when I'm playing episodes 2 and 3, I'm always short
on ammo.  Not only that, but I don't get the chainsaw until
annoying late in the adventure.  So why waste buckshot??
Kill'em with yer fists!  Spectres too!  Lots o'fun!  I got
through episode 3, level 1 without shooting a single Pinkie!

Ahem.  Seriously, does anyone else find it a better idea to
kill Demons and Spectres with your fists rather than bullets?
I've become quite good at it, and regularly dispatch them
without losing any health whatsoever, provided I don't let
them attack me on two sides.

Ever since I did the first part of level 1-8 with nothing
but my fists, this has become my modus operandi...

Yeah, I had to do that in episode 2 and
3 here and there(punch pinkies to death,
no ammo and had not gotten chainsaw yet.)
At the start of level Episode three, very
soon I had to kill the pinks with fists,
not that hard-punch back up-punch back up.
Then, I had to exit the level with only fists
and kill several imps! That was harder than
heck(ultra violence.) save, die, restore.

Also, there's this fun variation. Play on UV level and see how far you can get
using ONLY your fists... Fun, but tough. If you use your fists or the chainsaw
on the demons and spectres, as long as you're hitting them, they can't hit you.
But if you shoot them and they're near you, they're free to chomp your butt.

Not if you are using a chain gun.
