I'm a long time DOOM2 player, and I just recently bought DOOM 3. While the atmosphere and sound design and level design are excellent, and while the monsters are effing sublime...is there anyway to be able to aim without using the ^%$&ing mouse?? I'm so used to keyboard controls: running and sidling with my right hand, shooting/strafing/changing weapons with my left. I need a third hand to play this one! It's just so unnatural to move with the left hand and then aim with the right, and the mouse just sucks frankly, you can't play a POV shooter a mouse, imo. Am I missing something? Is there a different setting or something? It's proving to be incredibly frustrating. The game seems so slow this way, constantly moving my hand to control the mouse, constantly slowing down. The joy of DOOM was it's quick movements. Hell, I used to be able to duck out of the way of a Cyberdemon, now I can't even avoid the demons cause I can't lower the shotgun without stopping.
