So far, of those who've actually taken the time to READ the novel on the Web, over 90% have responded to the e-survey saying they'd recommend it to family and friends. (And most of those readers who get beyond the first few chapters DO finish the book.) As for spamming, I have tried to place excerpts only in response to on-topic multiple postings from others. I'm new at this, and can't claim to have made perfect posting decisions, but will try to be more selective as I learn more. Still, I would think that MANY people involved in the computer industry might be intrigued to read about someone else's vision of the future capabilities of microchips and software, and the effects of new technology on the nature of human interaction. My novel is not for everyone though, as your message eloquently demonstrates, and it is certainly your right not to read the book. --Jim -- Imagine a world where a machine can always tell whenever anyone is lying. The Truth Machine will be in bookstores in October, but for now it is the first and only pre-publication novel you can read FREE on the Web: <http://www.truthmachine.com/> Feedback sincerely appreciated.
