I do wish you the best of luck though, cause with your >attitude, you'll need it. Okay, here's the deal the way I see it. In general, I can't afford games software. I buy budget titles sometimes (most recently Dark Forces) and on a very rare occcasion, I buy full-price games. I bought Quake, even though I already had a pirate version. Why? Because I liked it, I wanted to be able to install it at work and at home (but don't tell the boss ;->) and I wanted the soundtrack. I don't buy games unless I have already played them and I like them. Personally, I think if something is good enough, I'll buy it rather than pirating it (except for big, ridiculously expensive apps like 3D Studio, which I only needed for one project anyway and then dumped, rather than spending thousands on a commercial version). At the end of the day, I'm not _proud_ of pirating software. But as a home user with a VERY limited budget, it's the only option I have, so I'm not ashamed of it either. So there.
