Hello, I did go to this web page and downloaded their zip files. I was under the belief that I was downloading the whole entire Doom program, only another version. As it turned out, what I got were additional wad files, but no Doom.exe game. I ended up sticking these wad files into my existing Doom95 program directory, and I was able to open the game with a lot more variety, but I still got the same error message with certain combinations, the program states that it is not the registered version. Still, I am able to use the extra wad files which I had originally downloaded in combination with the new free ones. Obviously, I don't have a very good understanding of the various components, and I'm still stumped on how to go about converting this into the registered version, but I guess that I really don't have to. Dale PrBoom is only an engine. Try FreeDoom if you need a free full IWAD. http://freedoom.nongnu.org/ --
