Hi,

I haven't played Doom in years. My son recently came across my Final Doom
for Win98 CD and got me to install on my current poot. I done this and added
doom.wad and doom2.wad found in a dark dusty corner. My problem is that all
four of the games hang the poot and at no particular time. i.e you can play
for half an hour and then it hangs, or it could hang in the first couple of
seconds of playing. When I had them installed on my old win95 system there
were no such problems.
I am currently running with win98 and XP on an AMD-K6 3D @ 533Mhz and 184Mb
RAM. Although it isn't exactly a high-tech poot by todays standards, it *is*
vastly superior to what I used to run Doom on.

Anyone had similar problems and managed to resolve them?

many thanks

mori
