You're on a circular platform - just run around it avoiding the missiles 
from the end boss (easy).  Keep blasting the imps etc that climb onto the 
platform as you run around (moderately easy) and each time you've killed 
enough and the soul cube is recharged let the end boss have it (easy).  Do 
this a few times and bob's yer uncle...  If you've got this far you have 
encountered (and beaten) harder bosses.
