prob with fix 1.3 and cd key

big dillema...
-the game is properly installed, single mode works, multi dont work : cd key 
not working ( tryed 3 key from a kg)
-the fix 1.3 ( from file planet and doom3 ) : not working cause it cant find 
the ver of the game..wtf??, even installing it from game folder.

if some of you have better luck , id like some info
thanks in advance
