I've played them all, and I think D3 is pretty damn Kick ass.  You are
entitled to your own wrong opinion, however.  I think the darkness and the
monsters scared you, and your trying to justify your cowardice at being
scared of a PC game.

Sure some stuff could be different, some things could even be better.  But
this is the new standard for PC games.  Far Cry was fun too, but niether of
these was as deep as Half-life.  They were both fun however, for me and many
others.  When HL2 comes out, we may have yet a new standard.

The frightening ambiance recalls only System Shock2 in the sense that I
often did not want to know what was around the next corner, but HAD to find
out.  This is good shit.  I feel bad for anyone who cannot appreciate the
art of game development at this high level.
