Only if it is warranted. If you failed to notice the small handful of idiots
who supposedly played the game, then did nothing but rant and rave here
repeatedly about nothing but how much they hated the game, id sucks,
players who like the game are stupid, etc, etc... yeah, I disrespect their opinions
completely, after they have acted in such a manner. As vicious and mean as some
of them get in their hate-filled diatribes against Doom 3 and id and whoever may
happen to disagree with them, you have to seriously wonder if their primary
enjoyment out of life is tearing things apart and making an obnoxious nuisance
of themselves. Spoiled, little-kid stuff. Unfortunately, usenet does include a number
of people who fit that description to a 'T'.

But anyone who wants to point out what they see as flaws in the game, or their
opinion of it, good or bad, in a semi-intelligent and non-offensive manner, I have
no problems with that at all, and give them the same respect as those whose opinions
I may happen to agree with.

It is not the opinions or views of a poster that necessarily earn or lose one's
respect, but mostly the manner in which they choose to dispense those views.
