Sorry for your misunderstanding, HanslH. There is nothing hateful
about putting someone in your personal 'killfile'. If that term for it
sounds 'bad' to you, then replace 'killfile' with 'blocked list' or
whatever. What is hateful, is the nasty crap that that person had to
spew in public, in order to get into my killfile. I am pretty liberal in
what I'll put up with, so it takes a lot of pure meanness and, yes,
hatefulness- in order to get there. The worst of the worst. The ones
who go out of their way to start fights, attack, put down, and verb-
ally abuse other people, for their own antisocial reasons.

I do not put anyone in my killfile for disagreeing with me- honest
difference of opinion and arguement, even a sometimes heated argue-
ment, are welcomed. That is what usenet is all about. But when some
total loser ignores all attempts by anyone to keep a disagreement civil,
and goes straight into cursing, insulting, and using a cheap, childish
10-year-old schoolyard bully's filthy verbal taunts in an attempt to
prove how 'right' and 'superior' they are... heh, it's into the killfile with
them, where they justly belong. They have nothing at all to say that is
worth listening to, and if I choose not to listen to their senseless crap,
that's my choice.

And I did not use the words "say what they think and then fuck off", as
you put it above. When quoting someone's words, try not to add your
own mistaken interpretations of them, or at least ask for clarification,
before doing so. My exact words were:

"You don't like it [Doom3], fine. Say yer piece, make it short and sweet,
and then go find something you do like, if such a thing even exists.
<shakes head> Killfiles. Use them, love them."

What I said there was, if you hate Doom3, fine- say what you don't like
about it, then go find something you do like, presumably somewhere
else. If you hated a game, why waste your and everyone else's time by
hanging around in its newsgroup just making noise continuously about
how much you hated it? Cripes, those types really need to get a life. So,
if they just want to whine and moan over and over, day in and day out,
often in a mean and abusive way about how much they hate Doom3,
then they're welcome to my killfile for their pointless shit posts.

Not referring to you by the way, just to those who are guilty of such
stupidity. Is my earlier meaning clearer, now? HTH.
