Must be so, for lots of the whiners.

Me? I've waited patiently for this one game now for several years. I
am in no hurry to get really into it, am ironing out little glitches and
such first, exploring a bit. And, am enjoying every bit of what I've
seen so far. :) This new engine is simply stupendous in its
capability! You know the editor is built in, right? :)

I pre-ordered my Doom3 with pewter Doom1 Pinky Demon and Prima guide at
the same time. Both are here. Doom3 is running. The nay-sayers can
naysay all they want, till they're blue in the face. Doom3 is exactly
what John Carmack promised me (us) it would be, and then some. I had no
problem with spending the $99.81 for all I got plus tax, title and
shipping ;) I wanted what was promised, and paid for it when it was
available, and got better than I was expecting. I'm happy :)
