Audio Troubles

For some reason when i run this game the audio stutters at times - I've
checked out this support website and changed my sound card settings to Basic
acceleration as per the instructions, but it still doesn't help.

Here are my specs.  Can someone let me know if I have a good enough Video
and Sound card to run this game smoothly.  If not, can you recommend a good
video and/or sound card worth upgrading to.


Sony Vaio PCV-RX860 2.5GHZ
Ram: 1 GB
Video Card:Nvidia GeForce FX 5500
Sound Card: Sound Blaster SB Audigy LS
