> Maybe graphics-wise, but for physics and movement and overall feel, I still > think Q3 is one of the greatest games EVER. For physics and movement - especially for that - QUAKE 2 is the best game of all time. And I mean THE BEST, because of that I need no other game for playing online or botmatch, and even Single Player missions sometimes :) Quake 2 also got this clear, clean, sharp timeless graphical beauty and a community of players and map and mod designers that keep it alive and kicking. Quake 3 might outperform Quake 2 in pure technical terms, but if you bring in the FEELING, it can not match the feeling and the physics and the gameplay of Quake 2 in any way.
