On the planet doom forums, http://www.forumplanet.com/planetdoom/topic.asp?fid=5733&tid=1438663&p=1 a poster recommends setting the "seta image_cacheMegs "xx"" to a higher number for better performance. I set it higher and didn't see any difference. However, the setting above it is "seta image_useCache "0"" Do I need to set this to "1" to use the cacheMegs setting? I tried setting it to "1" but the game crashes after trying to load menus on startup. My important specs are: Athlon 2500+ Asus A7V8X-X mobo 768MB PC2700 DDR RAM Sapphire Radeon 9200 Pro 128MB 4.9 beta cat drivers I'm getting a solid 15fps for demo1 at 800x600 resolution and this does not change when I change any settings other than the resolution. I adjusted the cacheMegs and it benchmarked the same 15fps. Thoughts? Regards, Robin
