I am running DOOM on a 486/33 with a trident video card and 16 Megs memory. I run OS/2 with the Boot Manager installed so that I can play Doom both in OS/2 and DOS. In OS/2 I set the DOS settings to the ones recommended in the readme file (thank you VERY much for providing these). I do however notice that Doom runs slower in OS/2. As a reference Low-Resolution on OS/2 is about as fast as high-resolution under DOS. Other than that everything works fine. Have other noticed this property as well? Is it something that is fixable or is it inevitable that OS/2 will be slower. Usually it runs DOS faster than DOS itself but, DOOM isn't exactly usual. Peter Forth pet...@ariel.cs.yorku.ca
