That was just to get your attention. There has been talk of command line parameters and actual success in getting doom to use 2 or more monitors to get a panoramic view. The way this works (To the best of my knowledge) is thus; One machine has an actual player, another 1(or more) becomes drone(s) for the first player. What good is that? Well, it works out that if you have a couple of extra monitors & networked syetems that are able to run doom, you can set one up to be your LEFT view, another to be your RIGHT view, and your machine to be your frontal view. I have hacked at some of these commands and have had some limited success getting it to work, so I'm posting what I know - on the off-chance that maybe someone else will figure out what I'm missing, and tell us all how to do it. Command lines: DOOM -right (a number here) results in the system stating that another system requested a drone, but it doesn't play. DOOM -left (a number here) see above. DOOM -dude (number here) It plays the game as a one player network game. DOOM -drone (number here?) I've read about someone trying this parameter, but haven't tried it myself. That's it. Good luck! --
