  I have the exact same problem. Didn't have it on version .99.... I was
able to play it through to the end with my Gravis Gamepad just great
(I also have a 486DX2-66), but once I upgraded to v1.0 it started doing
that. There may be a bug in the 1.0 upgrade... I tried playing it with
the various Dos extenders, but no luck.....
