DOOM modem play has come to a revolutionary level recently. Now available
in the 301/703/202 areacodes, is a 4 player DOOM, DOOM 2 and HERETIC server.
This is capable of handling 8 nodes of simultaneous DOOM, DOOM2, or HERETIC
action. There is support for almost EVERY other modem game. The place to
call is the DOOM(c) HQ! You will find the best and latest wads for DOOM,
DOOM 2, and HERETIC which you and your friends can use for 4 player
deathmatchs or cooperative games. If you have a lack of doom partners this
is the place to meet up for awesome 2,3,4,6 or 8 player games. This has been
extensively tested and the staff has maximized the possible speed to an
equvilant 1 on 1 game at 12000 for 14.4k callers, and 24000 baud for 28.8
callers. It's FAST, and it's the FASTEST you will ever play 4 player modem
DOOM, DOOM 2, and HERETIC.
There will be weekly competitions with prizes in online time given
to the winners. You must be asking yourself 'So.. how can I get in on the
action.. and what do I need to play?' It's simple.. Hardware requirements
are as follows:

Reccomended : Required:
486 or Faster CPU 386 (You won't be very popular)
14.4k or 28.8(V.FC or V.34) 14.4 is REQUIRED
Sound Card, Mouse

Thats it! We have pre-configured the modems on the server to answer with the
correct compression and flow control, so no extra configuration of your modem
is needed! You will need to download Terminal software from the BBS called
SIRDOOM(c). This is the local daemon used to relay the information from the
teleconfrence DOOM game into your copy of DOOM as a network compatible game.
This is VERY simple to set up, and NO INSTALLATION is needed of any software,
just unzip and PLAY!
