I have come to the conclusion that DOOM has a
problem that is common only to 486DLC's.
After having the mouse/trackball lockup and also
the keyboard lockup consistently while running DOOM.
I looked to this group for help. I have found at least
3 other 486DLC users with this problem. The problem seems to be
nonexistent to everyone else.
I have tried:
different configurations
different mouse drivers
every version of DOOM I can get me hands on
Boy if INTEL finds out about this it'll be all over the news.
Just think "CYRIX CHIP CAN'T RUN DOOM news at 11"
Anybody got any ideas?
George
