	Last I knew, Netnews (or the usenet in general) has NO auto-
compression, so if you post a 1000+ line file, it *stays* a 1000+ line file.
All large postings do is clog up servers.  If it's a FAQ or something, I
suppose it's somewhat justified, but to post an "I got the chainsaw" recording
that is over 1000 lines is silly... ESPECIALLY when I know for a fact that
DOOM's .lmp files compress extremely well (over 90%).  As for one user who
mailed me saying that my flame ("Hey fudgehead...") should have been kept to
email, I justify it in the hope that other users will think twice before 
sending up uncompressed .lmp files.  I don't mind seeing a decent recording
of a tricky set of moves, but any yahoo who can install DOOM can handle 
ZIP (or ARC, ARJ, LZH, ZOO, etc).
