Hey, is there at least someone out there that agrees with me on this?

I think that all (and I know, this is going to be impossible, in fact it
is probably an oxymoron and doomed to be infinitely ironic, but so be it)
all of the posts containing the following subjects should start out with
the following standard disclaimer, making it easier for us to create a
working kill file.

I SUCK, blah blah blah

where blah blah blah stands for any one of the following:

Help me, I am on Please Daddy, Don't Hurt me, and I can't finish the
second level of the first game.

I've heard of this network thingy, how do I do it? (duh, y'know like a
Novell Network??)

Gee, DOOM says not enough memory before it even starts.

Uh, DOOM hangs at <purely random place, probably caused by idiots being
allowed to have more powerful computers than they could possibly use>

DOOM sucks because (some quirk or small thing that in their wildest
dreams couldn't even be considered a major feature of any game they could
program)

----

I am sure there are many more. Seriously, all of you go read the FAQ.
Make sure you computer is really setup, and doesn't have a shitload of
confilicting drivers, tsr's and such.

Read this group more carefully. You know the answer to your problem may
be just another page of posts away. I really can't stand one more "What
is DOOM?" Something that generates over several hundred posts weekly
can't be that hard to figure out what it is.

And get a clue. A Network. Novell Network. Over Ethernet, Token Ring
or what have you. That is the only current way to play multiplayer.

I've already seen some polite people do this, and it certainly is nice
not to have to read those articles beginning with I SUCK. or how about,
I AM LAME.
