It seemed a day like any other when Amarice, the HC Gemstone strafer, 
set out to confront the Maggot Lair in Hell, at level 87.

The arrows of her Windshear, socketed with two Shaels, a Gemstone and a 
Magestone, spat as viciously as ever into her foes. Her Enigma ornate 
plate gleamed. Her rings and amulet glittered.

Her life was 1263, her resists were all maxed, her life regen was 
something like 50 or more and she could regenerate her life from almost 
nothing to max in a single Strafe volley.

Yet... she fell. In the Maggot Lair. To a boss Maggot, "Bile Horn" 
(teleportation, multiple shot, lightning enchanted).

"How?" you all gasp in shock. "If she was so godly - how? To a Maggot 
boss??"

Glad you asked that question.

Because... *evil grin spreads slowly across face* ...the new version of 
Gemstone reintroduces something that 1.10 in Blizzard's infinite wisdom 
saw fit to do away with. And all it took was placing a '1' in a single 
column of the Skills text file.

Yes my friends - the MSLEB is back in all its challenging and 
oft-terrifying glory!

1.13 has nerfed LoD so much, I thought we all needed some SERIOUS 
challenges for Gemstone. ;) One is that Okies should now cast Iron 
Maiden again. Another is that the monsters should be of higher levels 
now in NM and Hell. And the third, is the return of MSLEBs!

Beware... for in the final version of Gemstone IV, to be released in 
five days, the MSLEB will once again terrify the lone adventurer...

Correction, removing a '1' in a column in the Missiles text file. LOL!
