The best javazons are a hybrid, they're not strictly melee. Max Charged
Strike, Lightning Fury, Lightning Strike, and either Lightning Bolt or Power
Strike(you won't be using either of them typically, and they provide the
same synergy boost, so it's up to you). I'd go Lightning Bolt, as it gives
you a lower mana cost ranged attack for use when you don't need Lightning
Fury, then dump spare points in whichever you don't max. Get at least 1 in
all the passive/magic skills, with decent +skills 1 is enough, though if
you're lacking in +skills gear you can move points to the passives you feel
would be most useful to you. Some people recommend getting Valkyrie to lvl
17+ and talk about how amazing she is at high levels-I've tried it, and I
found the valk to be utter shit(puny damage, god awful AI, and not even a
good tank), and possibly not even worth taking at ALL. It is up to you
though, try it with and without valk, and respec if you find you want/don't
want her.

Basic strategies, for single targets and big targets(bosses, balrogs,
urdars, etc), use Charged Strike. It's devastating. For small scattered
groups(small packs of Fallen for example), Lightning Strike is an excellent
skill to use. For huge packs(cows, big groups in Chaos Sanctuary, big Fallen
camps), Lightning Fury will clear them out, then you can use LStrike or
CStrike to finish off the stragglers.

The biggest problem any javazon has is immunes. If you go the lightning
route(which is the standard), lightning immunes will slow you down a lot.
For lightning immunes, you basically use Jab and your merc to kill them(if
you can afford it, Infinity is a javazon's best friend, if not, just get
your merc a big high damage weapon).

Damage is over a MUCH longer period, and poison immunes will present the
same problem as lightning immunes. If you want to try poison go ahead, but I
promise you, a lightning javazon with average gear is about 1120 times
stronger than poison is with the absolute 100% best gear available in the
game.

Thanks for the info, I went through normal alone on battlenet, no public
games, one reason the spam, which is horrendous, but no special equipment,
made shield for myself, polearm for merc. Killed every boss in the first
try, except Baal, which took two runs. Level 35 and put my first points in
lightning fury, am using the first poison skill because there is no delay,
I see the importance of lighting as quick killer, hoping to learn more as
things get tougher. Jerry

Hiya!

Hey, old threat, recent response.. ok since I've made my first
li-zon and was able to bring her solo to hell act 5, let me
give some input.

First, I would advise against poison.
It's what Shiflet said .. is he ever wrong? ;)
With poison, you'll ONLY be running, not fighting.

Safe the points and put some into Critical Strike and Penetrate.

That way, a 1 point Jab will do damage and it also increases the
chance and dmg of the physical part of Charged Strike and L.Fury.
In the end, it will even be possible to kill LI's with Fury,
although that would require a lot of salvo's and drain mana quickly.

The one thing that gave me problems in hell was a low Attack
Rating. Once you've got that one up, LI's will still slow you
down but it gets do-able.

Things that will give a blast are Titan's Revenge and Griffon's Eye.
Hope you at least find that Titan's on your way to hell.
Make sure to upgrade it as soon as possible, a non-upgraded
Titan won't do any good against LI's.

Best regards,
Marcel
