They have new classes in Diablo II like Barbarian. Can you play the
Barbarian or Paladin class in Diablo?

In original Diablo there were just 3 characters, the warrior, the mage, and 
the rogue.

The hilarious Hellfire expansion, which annoyed Blizzard so, added the monk.

While not particularly well designed or balanced, the bard class, once
well equipped, utterly destroyed just about anything in a blink.
