Aren't weapons random the same way levels and quests?

I cannot find it either. I've cleared all the levels down to 13 and
still haven't found it. Do you have to fulfill some other conditions
before the anvil appears? What level should it be on?

Its always been in the middle of the map on a bare patch surrounded by

lava streams, its small, so don't expect some huge thing like a
shrine.  Go back and search, i think level 13 or better yet read
Desslocks Faq posted here in this group or on his site.

The anvil of fury can be found on level 10.  The reason it is so hard to
find is because it is black and is very tough to see in the caves.  It is
found on small peice of land surrounded by monsters. (mostly goatmen with
bow and arrows.)

The anvil of fury is actually on the 13th level, in the right part of the
dungeon, next to the red/blue door...
