JUST STARTED THE GAME...HOW DO I KILL THE BUTCHER?

Newbie to the game, can someone tell me how to kill this guy? I have a robe and schion with fireball or bolt of lightning spells. Paci...@nol.net Black holes are where god divides by zero.

You need to be at level 10 or 11 and either the firewall scroll or spell. Now here's the best way. Go to his, open it and cast a firewall into the door. Then close the door before he comes out and watch him burn! Hope this helps. F.A. The best way is to clear the level first, making notice of rooms with barred windows, and lockable doors(make sure not to block them). After that open butcher's door and lead him to the barred room. Close the door to the room before he can come inside and shoot him with whatever you got until he dies. You might want to pick up at least a shortbow, or couple scrolls of firewall if you do not have the book of firewall.
