My name is James. When on b.net ((starcraft)) people didn't want to waste time by writing it out so they wrote J. My freind started using it and eventually I came to be called Jay (When I said J they assumed it to be short for Jay). One day, on AHSC there was a guy, also by the name of Jay, trying to be an imposter of me. I found out very soon becuase he posted newbie stuff and made stupid comments towards Ng elders. I asked him to please change his name a his trying to be an imposter wasn't very comfortable for me. He cursed me out. So instead of taking offense I just changed my name to The Real Jay. Once I announced the name change he never posted again. Weird. (Absolutely true story. You can probably look up some of the posts on deja.com, but our argument was through email) -- "Never argue with a moron, they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience." -Anonymous Erthbender wrote in message <19990624194326...@ng-fi1.aol.com>... > > Serveral months ago there was a post about the names people give there >characters and the reasons behind them.
