Playing Diablo I (from teo game Collectors Edition). Doc says patch 1.08 installed. Playing as a warrior. Pentium III 500, 256 RAM, ATI Rage Video, Creative SB Live X-Gamer sound, Win 95B OS, Direct X 7a. Problem: Lazarus bug (from doc supposedly fixed in 1.07). Left level 15 and returned after entering red teleport, cleared first level of Lazarus alter, entered center teleporter, saw video, heard speech, then nothing. Characters immune to attack or magic. Cannot advance game. Uninstalled and Reinstalled game. Reloaded from a much earlier saved game position on level 15 (before entering the red gate to alter). Same problem. Uninstalled game. Downloaded patch 1.08. Patch would not install. Gave checksum error :ui_art\selcomm.pix. Uninstalled game. Retried patch. Same error. What to do? dugan
