You can occasionally get a book from Adria (sp?).  Kinda looks like a proton 
torpedo from Star Trek.  And fireballs do more damage comparably, though Blood 
Stars do magic damage.  Also, I think the damage done is related to how much 
"Magic" stat you have, but I'm not certain.
