Greetings all!

Is anybody else out there playing Diablo with a Ensoniq Soundscape
Elite?  I seem to have difficulties with it.  Every time I play
Diablo, some sound effects and MIDI music are come out as a burst of
loud static.  I say about 50% of all sound effects are come out as
static.  As you can imagine, this means I have to play with the sound
manually turned off (no power to the speakers.  Turning sounds down in
the game doesn't work... I still get static.)

I have the latest build of the drivers from Ensoniq.  I also have the
latest version of DirectSound installed.  Yet, the problem persists.

Any help?
