Umm, where in the world did he say he lost "freedom"? He said he lost money 
from people not paying for the game.

Well, i would strongly assume his paycheck would be HIGHER if they sold more 
programs, therefore techincally his paycheck is smaller because of piracy.

In essence, it is. You steal something without paying for it. Maybe it's on a 
smaller scale, but it's the same thing.

Yeah, well i suppose by your reasoning, murder is inevitable, arson is 
inevitable, crime in general is inevitable. So why don't we just say "aaah, 
screw it" and play outside? Because it's wrong. It was wrong, is wrong, and 
forever shall be wrong.
He's being an activist against it because it's affecting him more or less 
directly-- he makes software... and then his software is pirated... so he has 
his rights to do what he wants to. I for one will not give you any sympathy 
when some crime happens to you and you become a die-hard activist against it, 
because i shall call you a hypocrite.
