	I can't answer your questions on rock quest and door but I can
answer about the guy Charbad the Weak.  The bastard is his own quest.
If you look at the quest log, it'll have Charbad on it bleating out please
let me live.  The following is a bit of a spoiler so don't read it if you
don't want to.






	Charbad is a treacherous little goat.  Sure he gives you a random
item as proof of his being nice.  The cheap lout gave me a fine leather armor
for my troubles so I guess you lucked out there.  Talk to him again and he
says he'll give you something else too.  Wander about and waste all the monsters
and he'll tell you he's almost finish the gift.  If you find a room with a book
surrounded by many candles, read it.  It tells you of the fall of the three
Dark Brothers by the other four darklords.  I went back to Charbad and he
says "too good for you.  you want you take!" and he proceeds to pop you in
the head with a morning star.  Unless you have great armor, he'll score a
pretty solid hit (unfortunately for me I'm a level 12 rogue and only 2 pts
went to vitality).  I then proceeded to shoot the backstabber with a bow
that knocks him back (Bow of the Bear but there's much better ones out there)
after a gazillion arrows the poor guy crumpled and I found an iron morningstar
of skill on him.  I love it when the rogue says I'm not impressed because
that morningstar isn't that great.  Maybe he has something else that he dropped
during the fray because I didn't zoom in.
