If the Hidden are giving you trouble then I suggest replaying the upper
levels a few times first.  They are about the easiest creatures in the
cats.  Even if you somehow get past them you are in for more trouble
down the road.  Work lvls 1-4 to go up a couple of lvls and collect as
much gold as you can.  Also Griz will offer you better equip to you at
higher lvls.  Hope that helps :)
