Amazing the way he manages to contradict first the other writer and then
himself in the space of three short paragraphs. And manages to invent
such a convoluted algorithm - in the process modifying the laws of maths
(2x2=3 !! - see next para') to justify his explanation !

(His maths is off: if nightmare is twice as difficult as normal and hell
is twice as difficult as nightmare then surely hell is four times as
diffifult as normal. Two time two equals four, not three. 8-))

The real answer is you get your first dot if you kill Diablo on Normal.
You get the first (if you don't have it already) and second dot for
killing Diablo on nightmare and the first, second (assuming you don't
have them already) and third dots for killing him on hell.

My sorceror character has only killed Diablo on hell/hell and has his
three dots.
