Problem with Graphics in Diablo

Hello, 

	After trying the demo I thought the program was great. I went
out and purchased Diablo, after removing the shareware version and
installed the full version, the graphic quality is different. The
shareware version looked great! after installing the full version the
graphics look like 256 color mode! the video card is an ATI Mach64.
anybody got any clues as to why the full version does not have the
save quality as the shareware version?


Also: I would like to use it on my laptop, but the graphics looks like
it is all sheared, the program reports that it is directx compatable,
and I have tried several other drivers, but no luck. The laptop is a
NEC Versa 4230.
