SPOILER! I've had the mushroom and brain quest twice so far. In both quests, the brain immediately popped out of the first demon I killed after Adria told me to look for it (one of the demons didn't even have "demon" in his name; I think it was a Lava Lord). It is easy to miss the brain, though: it's only about the size of a potion. >Can you finish the game even if you don't have the demon brain or is it a >requirement for finishing?
