Ok, I came home to a wonderfull present on the front porch tonight (got my
registered version of descent). As soon as I can I get online tonight to try
it out and have nothing but problems. A couple of more people are having the
same problems as me. Well to make a long story short, it required us to set
the modem to ignore dtr to get it to work. For 2 of us we just sent AT &D0 to
the modem before dialing in. Mind you this was after reseting the modem with
at z and reseting it to factory defaults with at &f1 . My modem is an
intel 144/144e. I am not sure what the other chaps modem was.
