Not much activity here though. Have experimented a little with D2X-XL the last few months, but I'm not putting in hours anymore.... Miss the good old days with modem, D2 an KALI :-D Pyro

The version I have allows me to collect Cloaks and Invulnerabilities and then use them at will. Only on a per-level/per-life basis though. If I die, or if I don't use them before exiting, I lose them. There's still some really great missions getting created out there if you look. D1 and D2 are the best for me; both were very dark and menacing. D3, while it is challenging, just didn't have that malevolent undertone like the first two. em

Right now I'm having fun with "Dr. Moreau's Dungeon" Sometimes my son (23) and I play against each other, we're pretty evenly matched. I told you already: You can assign any key you like to the automap function in the keyboard configuration menu (configure - controls - keyboard). When you're done, exit the menus. Press the chosen key in-game to display the automap. It works the same in D1 and D2 levels.
