Does anyone have the Space Orb config software?

Hi all,
I'm getting back to Descent after a long hiatus. I am hooked on
my Space Orb (which I pulled out of the attic) but I'm not going to
spend the time trying to set it up if I can't locate the software that
Spacetec had on their web site to config the device.

Thanks,
ZP

But the links to the software on this page are to dead Spacetec FTP sites?

IIRC, what I need is this:
ftp://ftp.spacetec.com/pub/spaceware/spaceorb/software/spo0481/spo_4_81.exe

Any chance you have this file?

Thanks!

I use a "SpaceBall" on my IBM/AIX RS6000 CAD workstation.
I think the software is called "SpaceWare".
If this is the same company that made your hardware
maybe I can get what you need from their rep.

I'll try to remember to check into it when I get back to work on Monday.

In the meantime, it might help if you gave me the model number
and anything else that might help identify your equipment.

I have this model:
http://tinyurl.com/4soxw
It does not have a model number on the uint.
It is marked "Spacetec IMC Corporation".

The software that came with it was tough to use but, the web page did
have a GUI that was great.

Yes, I have that file.

It is also here, but I don't know the hoops you have to jump through to get

How frustrating! Too many hoops for me. Got about 5 levels of questions
and software downloads and gave up. Any chance you can drop it off in a
binary group? Or mail it to czeigler5++@comcast.net (remove ++)Please?

Did I say please?

Thanks

I'm sorry Ziggy, I think my lead is a dead end.

I checked my software at work and it is from
3DConnection http://www.3dconnection.com
and it is a Logitech Company.

My device is labeled "SpaceBall 4000".

Again, sorry that I couldn't help.
