hey peeps,
pxo is dead and probably wont come back, but d3 multiplayer is still
going on.

what you need:

descent3 with 1.4 patch:
get the patch here:

only thing you need is a browser with java enabled.

some descenters are still on kali:

kali is us$20 for lifetime use, has a good chatinterface and great
gamebrowser.

gametracker:

since pxo is down, most dedicated server have switched to direct
tcp/ip and report to gamspy, kali, cx-tracker etc.

best gametracker for d3 with the option to autojoin games via
batchfile:

another cool (and free) gametracker is kquery, just added d3-support a
few weeks ago:

and last but not least, kali from above, shows most server and you can
join from within the kali gamebrowser.
